MAC Staff Awards 2024
During the beginning of each year, we celebrate the success of the previous 12 months (Jan-Dec). All staff are invited to a special event celebrating the achievements of the previous year, where award finalists and winner’s are announced during the evening.
Each award is outlined below and is transparently judged on the criteria outlined using the relevant award results of the previous year, including;
• Input from our management teams,
• Feedback from our customer rating systems,
• Achievement of our Franchise Targets,
• Nominations from work colleagues and
• An individual Core Values score.

Award categories
Apprentice of the year
Awarded to the apprentice who has excelled in their apprenticeship position. This award recognises course
credit achievements, demonstration of a developing talent for their trade and successful contribution to the
dealerships goals in delivering an exceptional and personalised customer experience.
Eligible positions: Apprentice technicians, Apprentice Parts Consultants, Apprentice Painters, Apprentice
Panel Beaters.
Tradesperson of the Year Award
Awarded to the tradesperson who has excelled in every aspect of their trade. Recognising outstanding
technical ability, efficiency, and contribution to the dealerships goals in delivering an exceptional and
personalised customer experience.
Eligible positions: Technicians, Painters, Panel Beaters, Accessory Fitters, Tyre Fitters.
Vehicle Consultant of the Year Award
Awarded to the consultant who has excelled in all aspects of their role. This award considers nominees
who have achieved exceptional overall sales success including sales volume, contribution to dealership
franchise target achievement, customer feedback ratings, and delivering an exceptional and personalised
customer experience to our dealership clients.
Eligible positions: Vehicle Sales Consultants.
Customer Experience Award
Awarded to the person who has excelled in all aspects of their role to deliver a consistently exceptional
and personalised experience for our customers. This award considers nominees from all front-line customer
centric roles who have enhanced and personalised the experience our customers have with us.
Criteria includes relevant department or business customer feedback ratings, relevant department sales
metrics, and outstanding Core Values.
Eligible positions: Finance & Insurance Consultants, Customer Relationship Managers, Parts Consultants,
Service Advisors, Reception & Administration team members.
Employee of the Year Award
Nominated by your work colleagues and taking into account the achievement of department or dealership
performance along with contribution to the dealerships goals in delivering an exceptional and personalised
customer experience, this award recognises the person who has excelled in their dealership role to
contribute to the overall businesses success.
Eligible poisitions: All staff (nominated by your peers).
Emerging Leader of the Year Award
Nominated by your work colleagues, this is awarded to an upcoming potential leader who is well respected
amongst the team as a future leader. Final nominations will be vetted by the dealership Management team
with the award recognizing the person who best demonstrates the foundations of a successful future leader.
EligiblePositions: All Staff (nominated by your peers).
MAC Leadership Award
Awarded to the department or branch manager in recognising truly outstanding results for their overall
responsibilities. Nominations of this award will recognise the leaders in our group who manage through our
Core Values to deliver a consistently exceptional and personalised service to our customers.
This award takes into account every aspect of being a successful leader – including; staff leadership,
customer relationships, customer first thinking, financial performance and achievement of franchise targets.
Eligible positions: All management, team leaders & senior leadership staff.
MAC Core Values Award
Considered from the dealership staff who have received this quarterly award during the year, this
recognises the person who consistently uses our Core Values to deliver our goal:
"Delivering a consistently exceptional and personalised service."
Naturally, this person will be well respected by their peers and our customers alike and will have made a
significant impact on their dealership’s performance for the year – making this one of the most coveted
awards to achieve.
Eligible positions: All Staff.
Winners
Each award winner receives a $1,000 pay bonus.
The winners of the below awards are hosted, together with their partners, on a memorable reward trip.
